First, we had to be wary of the natives. Yikes! I was nearly annihiliated by a guy in an IS 300 this morning. He had a little boy in the front seat, too. Stay classy, Rockford.

At last, I have arrived at Beautiful Pearl Lake in South Beloit, IL

My poor little ricer was riding low. Weights, wet suits, regulators, BCDs, 8 air tanks and luggage for two for two days.It looks really full:

But I actually had a little room to spare

After finishing skills, we started to descend for the fourth dive of the weekend and I saw this guy as he darted off

When we reach the bottom, my buddy signals:

Jessie, another student, signals

The instructor reads a heading

We begin a nice, relaxing dive and soon we see a boat doing it wrong

Shortly after that, I notice my buddy trying to get my attention

She's all like "LOOK!!"

And I'm all like ", RR ties?"

And then I was like... "oh, a fish... here fishy, fishy..."

Mindy, Al and Jessie pose for a photo

Mindy and I pose... damned low pressure inflator kept coming un-velcroed

w00t!
